January 2008 - Hopuhopu SJ

Took Flynn down to Hopuhopu with Sarah & Scarlett, as wanted to see if I could crack the clear round 1m SJing, so that I could also qualify for the Taupo Young Event Horse. Super, super hot that weekend!!! Had another go at 1.05m as well, however we got 1 rail in every single class we did, so the qualifying hopes had to be put on hold. We did however both cope with the height really well this, with neither of us really panicking, which was nice!! All photos are from the 1.05m class. Was good to see that he was clearing them convincingly too & not just scraping over.
