Took Flynn to his first registered SH outing as wanted to finish off qualifying for Puhinui Young Event Horse. Needed to get a clear round at 95cm with a placing of 4th or higher. Managed to get that sorted in our first round & even came away with SH points! Placed in the 4&5 year old class, so was very happy with that. Also had a go at our first ever 1.05m class in ring 1. Yikes, what was I thinking? We both came around the corner into the first jump & both of us at the same time went "OH SHYITE" LOL
We had a few rails as I just couldn't adjust & he really needed a better ride at that stage & I wasn't able to give it to him. Very proud of my boy though, not once did he stop when he was unsure, he tried it anyway, so very pleased. It was a stinking hot day too!!
