Winter 2007

Flynn was turned out into the big hilly back paddock for a much needed holiday from end of May through until the end of July. Now sure who benefited more from the break, him or my wallet!! I did use the time to get his sarcoid by his girth cut out, which was just as well as it took a month to finally close over as he kept ripping the stitches out. Was pretty gross experience & not one I'm keen to repeat in a hurry! Bought him back into work at the end of July as had foolishly decided that we were going to try & qualify for Young Event Horse as he was coming into his 5 year old season & had quite a nice jump on him, so hey, why not? hahaha famous last words!
